Works
ЯEDЯUM
Premiere: April 22, 2017
Days before their execution, three women convicted of premeditated murder on death row must learn to put their pasts behind them and band together for the sake of their sanity.

Lauren's first work was heavily inspired by the infamous serial killer, Aileen Wuornos. Lauren seemed to explore the lives of female convicts with different backgrounds and similar crimes turning to each other for comfort.
The Disconnection
Premiere: December 8, 2017
During a time where technology is at its most advanced state, how would society react to an apocalyptic blackout?

Lauren drew inspiration from the topic of society's growing addiction to technology. In the present climate, everything is easily accessible via the internet. If it were taken away in the blink of an eye, what would society do and how would we handle the situation? This work was performed and adjudicated at the American College Dance Association’s annual Northeastern Conference at Montclair State University in March of 2018.
The Gentlemen's Club
Premiere: April 20, 2018
Six beautiful women set the stage to put on a sensual performance at the prestigious Gentlemen's Club. Won't you let them entertain you?

This captivating and sensual jazz piece was a considerable step out of Lauren's comfort zone. This piece was heavily inspired by New York's adult burlesque performances. She decided to create an enticing party scene that would leave the audience wanting more.
CLockwork
premiere: December 7, 2019
The clock always ticks away. There are times you don't hear it and there are times that you do. The flow of time never stops.

Lauren drew inspiration from her fascination with the functions of an antique grandfather clock, along with the concept of time itself. each dancer in this work represented a different part of a clock: the three hands and the internal gears. Not only that, but each dancer also controlled a different aspect of time (Half time, regular time, and double time).
ANXIOS
Premiere: April 26, 2019
Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all the darkness.

Lauren was motivated by her struggles with anxiety to create a work where anxiety is a physical entity, constantly manipulating a single person. A pull chain lightbulb was used as a representation of finding the light in the darkest of times, helping to pull the main dancer out of her negative headspace and towards a hopeful future.
Unfastening
premiere: August 28, 2021
closure happens right after you accept that letting go and moving on is more important than projecting a fantasy of how the relationship could have been

Lauren created this work to express the emotional turmoil experienced when a relationship comes to an end. This being her first post-collegiate work, Lauren chose this topic to represent her transitioning into the next stage of her life. The dancer takes a passionate journey throughout the work and experiences true happiness after letting go of the pain holding her back.
